Publish the page at your company's address — gull system handbook

Publishing a web configurator: the Publish button, prerequisites (sign-in, export), what is uploaded, the licence's page cap, the company address, embedding in a website.

Publish the page at your company's address

Publishing uploads the exported library and the page's live settings to the gull system server. The page is then at https://<company>.gullsystem.com/<page> and can be embedded in your website.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to the app with an account (not just a key): "You can publish once signed in (System options → Account)".
  2. On the website under Account → Company check the company address — it is suggested from the company name and can be changed. It is the part of the address before `.gullsystem.com`.
  3. Export the page: "Export the page first — there is nothing to publish."

What is uploaded

The Publish button is enabled only when something changed since the last publish. A green Published means the server has what you have.

Embed the page in your own website

A published page is embedded as a frame (`iframe`) with its address. Embedded, the page offers a Full screen button. If you change the page or company address, the embed stops working until you fix it.

How many pages

A published page carries noindex — search engines do not index it by themselves. Link to it from your website.
