Number the orders — gull system handbook
Numbering orders in gull system: an input for the number, the Value node with the Counter source, a pattern with the year, month, day, user and sequence tokens, the next number.
Number the orders
The order number is an ordinary input filled by a Value node from a counter. Once it exists, it names folders, files and the drawing's title block.
Procedure
- In step 2 add an input Order number. Leave its default empty.
- In the Workflow editor insert Value from the ribbon and draw a line from the input source into it and from it on to Model generation.
- In the node's Properties choose Source: Counter and Into input: Order number.
- Use the input wherever you need it: in a folder-name formula `[Order number]`, in a drawing property rule `"Order " & [Order number]`; the order file has it automatically.
Tokens in the pattern
- Token: `{sequence:0000}` - Value: the running number padded with zeros to four digits
- Case does not matter; an unknown token is written as it is.
The counter is on this computer. Two computers taking orders for the same configurator do not share numbers and can issue one twice. Keep order intake on in one place.
An input filled by a Value node needs no field in the form. If you add one, the node's value overwrites it on the order.
