Read the order Log
Every order has a record in the Log: its status, which rules passed, which documents were saved and why something did not happen. It is the first place to look.
Statuses
- Status: Done - Meaning: every rule passed and every document was saved
- Status: Done, with a warning - Meaning: the order finished but something was skipped — a rule without a value, a document without a folder
- Status: Failed - Meaning: the order did not run; the detail says why
- Status: Awaiting a check - Meaning: stopped at a Check node; Confirm or Cancel right in the row
- Status: Cancelled - Meaning: someone cancelled the check, or a condition ended the order
The screen
- Main menu Log → Orders. Filters Configurator, Input, Period, Status, the failed only switch and search.
- Columns Time, Configurator, Input, Input type (form, Excel, web configurator), Status, Rules (how many passed), Failed rules.
- An order's detail has the groups Saved documents, Skipped documents and Why the order did not run.
- Open the file's folder opens where the documents were saved; Export CSV saves the rows shown.
What to look for on a rule
- returned nothing — the rule ran and sent nothing; on a colour or material that is intended, on a dimension it means an empty input.
- Evaluated, but did not reach the CAD — a value came out but SOLIDWORKS did not accept it; typically a configuration not in the model, or a suppression with invalid text.
- The rule failed — an error value, see Error values #VALUE!, #NAME? and the rest.
Deleting and the Trash
Delete this order and Move the shown orders to the trash move records to the Trash, where they stay for 30 days. Deleting a record never deletes the generated files.
Technical log
The second tab, Technical log, shows the app's log with every detail — search, Copy, Save to file. It is what you send us when an order has you stuck.
