Inputs from another configurator — gull system handbook
Tip: copy inputs from a finished configurator with Add inputs from another configurator and connect a shared form.
Inputs from another configurator
You will take the inputs over from a finished configurator instead of creating them again.
Introduction
This helps when several configurators share one form. Identical input names make the field "Délka" fill the input "Délka" in each of them.
Steps
- Open the Define inputs step. In the new configurator, open the Define inputs step.
- Copy the inputs. Click Add inputs from another configurator, choose the configurator and pick All inputs, or a single input.
- Connect the shared form. In the Input sources → Forms step, select the first configurator's form and click Connect.
What next
- Defining inputs. Default values and the order of inputs.
- Names that connect everything. Why the same name is enough to connect.
- A form for orders. One form for several configurators.
