The documents were not saved — gull system handbook
Troubleshooting: drawings or exports are missing after an order — an export not on the canvas, a document without a folder, a root without a path, name collisions, forbidden characters, a check awaiting confirmation.
The documents were not saved
The model rebuilt, but the folder is empty or some files are missing. The cause is in the workflow, the document placement or the name.
- In the Log open the order's detail and the groups Saved documents and Skipped documents. A skipped document shows its reason. The status Done, with a warning means exactly this.
- The export did not run at all. The Workflow lacks a File export node for that format, or no line leads from it into the Folder structure. The Unassigned list on the left shows what is not on the canvas.
- "Unplaced documents — some outputs will not be saved.". In step 5 the document has no folder in the structure, or the format has no Export tick. Every structure has its own placement.
- "The structure has no root folder set yet.". In Output documentation click Choose root folder on the structure. A shared structure needs a path that exists on this computer too.
- "Two outputs point at the same file.". Two documents with the same name in the same folder — neither is saved. Give them different names, say with a formula containing the document's name.
- The name contains forbidden characters or is reserved. A slash, colon or asterisk in the name, or a name such as CON, NUL, COM1. Guard the formula: `SUBSTITUTE([Customer], "/", "-")`.
- "The flat pattern contains suppressed bends" or "The BOM is not on the drawing". The export source in the model does not match what was captured — see Export formats.
The Open the file's folder button in the Log opens the real place where things were written. It is more reliable than looking where you expected them to be.
