A dimension gull system drives does not change in the model when it is set for one configuration only. Why it happens and how to set it for all configurations.
A model whose configurations you do not drive, but whose dimension you do: the order runs without an error and the part stays the same. The usual cause is a dimension set for one configuration only.
A dimension can have a different value in each configuration of a part. For now gull system writes it into the part’s active configuration — which need not be the one the assembly uses. The value then changes in a configuration nobody sees, and nothing happens in the model.
This concerns only dimensions gull system drives. A dimension that is meant to differ between configurations is a sign you should drive the configuration choice instead of the dimension.
