Try real configurators published from gull system. The model rebuilds in your browser from what you enter.
Every demo on this page is a real configurator published from gull system — by the same route a customer publishes theirs. The model is rebuilt in your own browser from the values you enter; nothing is precomputed and no CAD is running anywhere.
The configurator is served from gull’s server and embedded in this page exactly the way a customer embeds it in their own site.
The same configurator you would build over your own model. Here is what runs behind it.
Set the length, width, height, drawbar, number of wheels and colour. The frame rebuilds, cross-members included.
The trailer was drawn by an engineer in SOLIDWORKS, and gull system connected to the finished model. Set the dimensions, the drawbar, the number of wheels and the colour — the frame rebuilds in your own browser, down to the number of cross-members nobody types in.
An engineer drew this trailer in SOLIDWORKS. gull system connected to the finished model — nothing in CAD is created from scratch.
The fields in the form are captured features of that assembly: length, width, height, drawbar length, number of wheels, doors and colour.
The number of cross-members is not one of them — it follows from the length. A rule like that is one formula, not code.
The same form can be filled in inside the CAD. In the picture it is the panel on the right of SOLIDWORKS.
When an order arrives, gull system rebuilds the model and exports the drawing as a PDF, DXF for cutting, STEP and a bill of materials into that order's folder.
The drawing is not generated. The one the engineer drew is exported — dimensions, tolerances and title block included — recalculated to the new sizes.
Nothing is generated here on this page: this demo has no price and no order button, it shows the configuration only.
Pick a demo and set it up your own way. Nothing to install, nothing to fill in first.
